Alicante Felipe Ortssix-time champion of Spain, tops the list of 15 elite, sub-23 and junior category cyclists who will attend the cyclocross World Championships which will take place in the Czech town of Tabor this weekend.
The cyclist from Vila Joiosa, who closed the World Cup last weekend with ninth place in the race of Hoogerheide (Netherlands), led the call announced by coach Pascual Momparler, who also chose Kevin Suárez, Lucía González and Sofía Rodríguez, for the elite category.
The under-23s selected are Alain Suárez, Miguel Rodríguez and Raúl Mira. Juniors Lorena Patiño, Maier Olano, Aroa Otero, Ana López Burgos, Irati Aranguren, Hodei Muñoz, Unax Galán and David Ivars complete the roster.
The competition program of this Tabor CX World Championship, where the competition has already been held in 2001, 2010 and 2015 and where rain is expected, proposes three races for Saturday and more for Sunday.
