The black list of footballers who, like Dani Alves, have been tried for sexual assault

Robinho

The former player of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Milan, among others, was sentenced in 2022 to nine years in prison for the gang rape of an Albanian woman that took place in a nightclub in Milan (Italy) in 2013. So far is not in prison and at the end of 2023 there is speculation that he will finally serve his sentence in Brazil, the country where he is located, after problems with his extradition to Italy.

The former Celta player was sentenced in 2022 to four years in prison for sexual abuse for the events that took place in Almería in 2017. The former striker for teams like Getafe and Zaragoza, among others, was fired by the elite team in 2011 after being arrested and pleading guilty to the crime of sexual assault. However, he did not go to prison after reaching an agreement with the victim, by paying around 12,000 euros in years and damages.

The former Manchester City full-back is in preventive detention after being accused of up to eight counts of rape and sexual assault. However, he was finally found innocent. He is currently in France, playing for Lorient.
