Christian Horner spoke for the first time following the dismissal of accusations against him for inappropriate behavior with an employee.
Everything exploded at the beginning of February when Red Bull announced that an investigation had been opened after, from within the team, inappropriate British behavior towards another member of staff was reported. It was never revealed what specifically happened but Dutch media reported that they did messages of sexual content.
The 50-year-old principal of the Red Bull Racing team He denied the accusations throughout the process and will be present at the launch of the 2024 car of the current constructors’ champion and at the pre-season tests in Bahrain last week.
“I’m glad the process is over.”Horner told Sky Sports News. “Obviously, I can’t comment on that, but we are here to focus on the Grand Prix and next season and try to defend our two titles.
Asked if he thought that was the end of the matter, he added: “Well, I can’t comment anymorebut the process is done and finished.”
“The unity within the team has never been stronger,” Horner concluded.
Red Bull released a statement confirming the end of the investigation on Wednesday, less than 24 hours before the cars took to the track for the first time in Bahrain Grand Prix that opens the season
