Joan Mir, the 2020 MotoGP world champion, has indicated that he expects to start the Portuguese Grand Prix. of MotoGP this weekend at the Portimao circuit, a track where he believes they have “potential”.
“I’m looking forward to getting back on the bike and continuing the work we started in Qatar. There is a lot of work to do, but after starting well on a track that was not the best for us, I am confident that we can do more in Portugal,” Mir acknowledged in his team’s press release.

“We are developing the bike, working with Honda, collecting information on different circuits to improve and our goal is to find a better feeling on the bike to be more competitive,” added Marini.
