The lionesses are increasing and keep winning games in League F. Last Saturday they signed their fifth straight victory in Anoeta by beating Real 0-1 with a goal from Nahikari. The red and white team is now sixth in the table, four points behind Atlético de Madrid, fifth.
“We are very happy to leave Anoeta. In the end it’s a derby, it’s more than three points and we continue to have positive energy. We will try to extend this good streak next week before the break,” declared David Aznar.
The Athletic coach emphasized that “Nahikari pulled a goal out of his hat and got us on the scoreboard. We suffered some masters in defending the goal and we returned home again with a clean sheet, something that meant a lot to us. We continue to grow.”
Aznar also emphasized the importance of the wins against Levante and Real, “six points that few teams can achieve” and stressed that “our goal is to remain unbeaten in the second round.”
