The family of former president of Betis Manuel Ruiz de Lopera expressed his gratitude for the support he received from the businessman’s death, on Saturday night, until this Monday when he was cremated, and indicated that they feel “honored and comforted at this difficult time.”
In a statement sent to EFE, the family members expressed “their deepest gratitude to all those close to them” who were by their side “during the sad moments of loss”, giving them “their comfort , companionship and understanding” of their illness.
“We extend our sincere thanks to the representatives of sports entities, the fraternities of the city of Seville and local institutions, as well as members of the press, supporters’ clubs and anonymous supporters who sent to us their sympathy, love and respect,” the note said, ending with “May God rest him in his divine glory.”
