Oriol Camacho acknowledges the irregularities

Date:

This Tuesday, the secretary of the Catalan Football Federation (FCF) was called to testify as a witness. Oriol Camachodue to a complaint filed by the FCF president, Joan Soterasagainst the former presidential candidate, Juanjo Isernfor several articles published in this newspaper in which Isern declared that the February 13 elections were fraudulent and there was alleged falsification of notary records.

The prosecution itself called Oriol Camacho to testify, who has been on leave since last March 5 and is currently protected by the anti-fraud office.

According to sources in the process, Camacho will be forthright in his statement. The Secretary acknowledges that there are irregular minutes issued by President Soteras in the notary office of Simón Navarro in Sabadell and that some of them had forged signatures. He also pointed out that in these minutes there is information that does not come from the clubs, but belongs to the FCF.

Orchestrated maneuvers

In his statement, Camacho indicated that everything was a well-assembled plot to achieve electoral victory because, apparently, as the general secretary declared, on February 12, 2023, a day before the polls, the General Director of FCF, José Miguel Calle, He brought together a member of each polling station and made it clear that they should only accept the notarial acts that came from the candidacy of Joan Soteras. If they come from another candidate, they have to be scanned and sent to an incident account and he himself decides whether it is valid or not.

This recommendation was made to some table members who, for the first time in an FCF election, were not judges of the competition committees, but rather workers of the federation.
