American Danielle Collins confirmed herself as invincible against the Frenchwoman Caroline Garciawho won 6-3 and 6-2 to qualify for the semifinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, where the best match between the Russian awaits. Ekaterina Alexandrova and his fellow Americans Jessica Pegula.
Collins had won the previous three against Garcia without dropping a set and needed almost an hour and a quarter to knock the Frenchwoman out of the quarterfinals.
