The Spanish water polo teams already have the calendar and schedules for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

The International Swimming Federation (World Aquatics) announced this Thursday the order of days and schedule their respective ones Olympic water polo tournaments at the Paris Games. The women’s tournament starts on July 27 and the men’s tournament on July 28.

On February 17, halfway through the Fukuoka World Cup, the draw for the two groups of each tournament was held. Then the order of matches is given. Now, the two Spanish teams already have schedules, plus women’s debut against France and second day against the United States and there is a men’s debut against Australia.

The women’s group It was placed in group B with France, the United States, Italy and Greece. Group A will be played by the Netherlands, Hungary, Australia, China and Canada. In its part, the masculine will play in group B with France, Hungary, Serbia, Australia and Japan. In A there will be Croatia, Italy, Romania, United States, Greece and Montenegro.

So, the Girls of Miki Oca, current Olympic runners-up, will open their road to Paris on July 27 against France (6:30 pm). Then they face the United States (29th, 3:35 pm) and Greece (31st, 8:05 pm), they rest on the fourth day (as there are five teams in the groups) and close the first stage on August 4 against Italy (3:35 pm).

For their part, the Children of David Martínfourth at the Paris Games and in search of the Olympic medal they have been missing, will open the competition on July 28 against Australia (10:30) and then face Hungary (July 30, 9:05 p.m.), Serbia (August 1 , 12:05), in Japan (August 3, 10:30) and France (August 5, 20:05).

The first four group winners in each of the tournaments will advance to the quarterfinals, with the women on August 6 and the men on the 7th. On the 8th and 9th, the respective semifinals for both genders will be played. On August 10 for women and 11 for men the match for medals will be held.
