It has waited three long years for its return, but finally Minibasket Day returns. Today, in the sports complex of San Javier that presides over the Príncipe Felipe Pavilion, the venue since 2003 for the celebration of this very special day (with the exception of 2005, in Molina, and the two years in which the Covid-19 pandemic it from ), the great coexistence of Murcian basketball is again given for its teams in a small basket, again with the invaluable organization of Marme de San Javier, one of the great classics of Murcian basketball.
A week after Benjamin’s Day, Minibasket Day brings together all clubs with teams in the junior category in both genders (born and born in 2010 and 2011) for a day of fun to close out the 2021-22 season, the return to normality in the development of their leagues, and in which each of the teams will play a minimum of two games within a day in which they will also enjoy a pool, games, activities and interaction with rivals who are no more than partners with a different kit .
From 10:00 am, when the first round of the matches starts, and until 5:30 pm, which is the last, a maximum of 45 matches are scheduled for the youth category to be played today in Príncipe Felipe and its pavilion. In total there will be 44 teams and more than 450 players who will meet in San Javier for a grand farewell that will culminate in the presentation of trophies and gifts for all participants, including the arbitration team.
In addition, it will be used to honor all those players who have participated in the Spanish Championship of Regional Teams this season.
