RCT Barcelona-1899 officially inaugurated the gray and rainwater reuse project that allows the club to be self-sufficient in watering courts and gardening. An initiative that also favors the sustainable development of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell-Trofeo Conde de Godó tournament, as one of the important novelties for the edition that will be held from April 13 to 21.
This is a pioneering project in the field of sports: it reuses all the water consumed in the locker rooms, thanks to membrane filtration and the installation of 3 water tanks with a capacity of 75 cubic meters in total ( 75,000 liters of water). . A system that allows the RCTB-1899 to be completely self-sufficient in watering driveways and gardens.
