The improvement of results with Jürgen Klopp at the helm gave Liverpool a juicy agreement with Nike, but now the club is about to reach another millionaire in Adidas to make a new change in this dance of brands, who returns with the German brand, which he has worn twice before (1985-1996 and 2006-2012).
According to the Daily Mail, Adidas has bettered the offer of Nike and Puma and reached an agreement with Liverpool for five seasons. If until now the American brand pays 35 million euros per season, the German brand will reach 60 ‘kilo’, a big improvement on the previous agreement.
However, Liverpool will remain far behind Manchester United, who are the highest paid in England. The ‘red devils’, despite their sporting crisis, earn 105 million euros per season, in an agreement with Adidas until 2035.
