They asked Musiala about his idols and the ‘Roja’ and he only talked about Barcelona fans

Jamal Musiala21 years of age onwards Bavaria and the German national team, is the protagonist of an interview with the newspaper Marca on the occasion of the upcoming semi-final of the Champions League against real Madrid. It is clear from his answers that when he was young he was excited about watching football FC Barcelona (all his idols wear Barça) and invited to evaluate the Spanish team as a rival to Germany in the next Euro Cup, he featured four players from the ‘Red’, all Barcelona fans.

So, asked about the possibility of Germany wearing ’10’ in the Euro Cup, he replied that “since I was a kid I admired all the big names who wore that number and it was always my favourite. I grew up watching Ronaldinho, Neymar either Messi. “Everyone wore the number ’10’ and for me it was always a dream to wear that number one day.”

He later asserted, when asked about his references, that “without a doubt, Messi and Ronaldinho. I’ve seen dozens of videos of these. I’m also wearing a t-shirt Zidane when I was little, number ’10’ of the French team.” And more specific: “Absolute idol? SA Messi I admire him a lot and have always been fascinated by him. I grew up watching Leo already Neymar. They are my favorites because they entertain me a lot and bring a lot of joy to the game. I always stop to see them: Leo scoring goals or Neymar doing those tricks with the ball. Then I go to the garden and try to imitate them. “I’ve always been a fan of theirs.”

Later, asked how he sees Spain as a rival in the Euro Cup, he mentioned four Barcelona fans: “I think you have some of the best young players in Europe: Laminate, Gavieven though he was wounded, Cubans…I saw something Laminate and he seems like an extraordinary player. And then Spain has quality players in the midfield like Peter. If you look at its category, Spain is a team that should always be respected.”
