I grew up watching Ronaldinho, Neymar either Messi. “Everyone wore the number ’10’ and for me it was always a dream to wear that number one day.”
He later asserted, when asked about his references, that “without a doubt, Messi and Ronaldinho. I’ve seen dozens of videos of these. I’m also wearing a t-shirt Zidane when I was little, number ’10’ of the French team.” And more specific: “Absolute idol? SA Messi I admire him a lot and have always been fascinated by him. I grew up watching Leo already Neymar. They are my favorites because they entertain me a lot and bring a lot of joy to the game. I always stop to see them: Leo scoring goals or Neymar doing those tricks with the ball. Then I go to the garden and try to imitate them. “I’ve always been a fan of theirs.”
Later, asked how he sees Spain as a rival in the Euro Cup, he mentioned four Barcelona fans: “I think you have some of the best young players in Europe: Laminate, Gavieven though he was wounded, Cubans…I saw something Laminate and he seems like an extraordinary player. And then Spain has quality players in the midfield like Peter. If you look at its category, Spain is a team that should always be respected.”
