Bayern, the ‘black beast’ of Bellingham

Date:

Jude Bellingham reunites with his particular ‘black beast’, Bayern Munich, the team in which he has lost the most games in his career, seven out of eight matches, against whom he has never scored and with whom he has pending points to settle, now with a new shirt, of Real Madrid, in the semifinals of the Champions League.

Bellingham doesn’t have a single good memory against Bayern Munich and the English midfielder wants to start creating them at Real Madrid. So far, defending Borussia Dortmund, they have lost two German Super Cup finals and lost five Bundesliga games. Their best result was a two-goal draw.

Bellingham has lost each of its four visits to the Allianz Arena in Munich. The first two occasions while still a Dortmund substitute, 2-1 in the Super Cup final in September 2020, 4-2 in his first league visit in 2021. Already a starter in the last two, losing 3-1 in 2022 and 4 -2 in 2023.

In the 508 minutes Jude played in official matches against Bayern Munich he did not score and received two yellow cards. The balance is seven defeats and one draw, with 25 goals conceded (an average of 3.1 per game) and 14 favors.

Bayern led the teams with the most losses in Bellingham, followed by Leipzig, where they lost three out of five matches, and Borussia Monchengladbach, who they also lost three times in six games.

In its quarterfinals Champions League, who stopped with a bad statistic, against Manchester City, where they lost their first three matches and in two draws with their goal in the penalty shootout, they removed a thorn. Now, it’s Bayern’s turn.
