Ferrari has already announced on previous dates that for the first visit to the United States in 2024 they will include the color blue in their decoration. And it was this Wednesday, before SF-24 took to the track, when they showed what they referred to as ‘BLUE-tiful’, the play on the words between blue and pretty in English. By using blue, they are honoring the fact that their new regular partner HP is coming on board.
As explained in their statement, the blue appears in two colors on the cars of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc: the darker (Azurro Dino) on the rear and front spoilers, and the lighter (Azurro La Plata) on the front . the Halo, the wheels and parts of the pontoons.
The lighter blue is similar to the one worn on the helmet and overalls of Alberto Ascari and also worn on the overalls of John Surtees, Chris Amon, Niki Lauda or the Maranello factory workers. That color will be worn by Sainz and Leclerc in their overalls, which they took advantage of to debut a helmet with a special decoration.
