The captain of Bourssia Dortmund, Marco Reusdeemed the week he was having an “incredible”, with qualification for the Champions League final shortly after announcing he would leave the club he played for in 2013 at the end of the season.
“It’s indescribable. A week for me, personally. Ending in the final of the Champions League, where it all started in the 2013 final – which Borussia lost against Bayern Munich -, more than 10 years later is something which is incredible.” taught Reus.
The 34-year-old midfielder acknowledged that “Ousmane Dembelé and Achraf Hakimi put a lot of pressure on the right wing” but highlighted his team’s resilience.
“We did it, in a few years they will not ask us how, they will see that we are in the Wembley final. We are always on a good pace in the Champions League. It is something incredible for those youth, it’s crazy,” that’s all Reus.
