This Wednesday the book was presented to the Higher Sports Council “75 years of building athletes from the heart” of José García Grossocordónwhich revived almost eight decades of minor categories of Spanish athletes with the aim of “highlighting the work done and serving as a legacy in the preservation of the heritage” of the history of this sport.
The book reviews seventy-five years of Spanish athletics (1949-2023) and the way in which the work system was “constructed, created and perfected, decade by decade, to have a stable and stable basis.”
Grossocordón, who has already published other works on the subject such as “Seven Decades Teaching Athletics with Passion (1949-2021)”, was present at the event and thanked all the people who collaborated in the publication of the book.
The president of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, Raul Chapadothanked the author for the work carried out with minor categories and highlighted the importance of collecting athletic heritage and the role of school sports in the training of athletes and coaches.
