New venue for 2027 Women’s World Cup: FIFA’s choice is known

Brazil was chosen this Friday during the FIFA Congress celebrated on Bangkok to organize the 2027 Women’s World Cup, the first time the championship will be held in Latin America.

In his presentation before the vote, the Brazilian Duda Pavao, accompanied by Iara -a virtual assistant-, featured the experience of Brazil to organize major events, such as the Olympic Games in Rio, by emphasizing that its stadiums are ready and with the support and commitment of the Government.

“Women’s soccer is growing more and more in Brazil and throughout South America,” Pavao remarked in his turn.
