The CSD Board of Directors will meet this Friday starting at 1:00 pm at the headquarters of the Spanish sports organization.
According to point IV of the agenda, the president of the CSD José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes will inform the members of the Board of Directors regarding the creation of the Representation, Administration and Normalization Committee of the RFEF, which was formally formed on Friday and which will be chaired by Vicente del Bosque.
Also, at the meeting of this collegiate body, the actions that, if appropriate, should be adopted in relation to the situation of the organization will be reviewed and discussed. RFEF.
That means They will discuss whether or not to suspend Pedro Rocha and the Management Commission of the RFEF for the file opened by the TAD against the current president of the RFEF. File that the TAD decided to open on April 11 following the complaint presented by the president of CENAFE and based on possible very serious violations for allegedly exceeding the performance of their duties during the time they were in charge of the Manager. More about some decisions adopted during those months within the RFEF.
Following its opening, it was when the CSD decided to call its Board of Directors to study a possible precautionary suspension while processing this file.
The first meeting was called on April 25, but on that day nothing was agreed but instead served to announce the creation of a Supervision, Normalization and Representation Commission of the CSD to protect the RFEF.
For the same day, a new meeting of the CSD Board of Directors was called to discuss the file within the federation but it had to be suspended again.
This time, it is due to the fact that, and within the period of processing the file itself, the TAD has requested up to 40 documents from the Spanish Football Federation that they consider of great importance for the final resolution of the same. File that can be resolved with a public reprimand or disqualification for two months to a year or even permanently.
The CSD then considers that no decision can be made regarding a suspension until the RFEF sends this documentation and it is reviewed by the TAD. Because it can be key both in terms of suspension and the final resolution of the file itself.
Documentation that, as MD knows, the RFEF has been sent to TAD. A situation that allows us to gather the CSD Board of Directors to adopt a decision for this Friday. Attached is a favorable report from the State Attorney’s Office.
