A new book published by World Athletics collects the development of all records in the world of athletics from the beginning of the sport to the present.
The publication, edited by Association of Athletics Statistics (ATFS) member Richard Hymans, is an invaluable reference that includes information on all The brand, place and competition where they were founded.
“Every personal or season record has meaning, but this book tells the magic of athletes who have achieved the ultimate: a world athletics record,” commented the president of World Athletics, Sebastian Coe. “In its pages you will find the traces of all those who have expanded the limits of human achievement through athletics,” he said.
The text has a total of 669 pages and can be obtained physically for $30 or consult its digital version for free.

It also includes a list of cities and stadiums where the most world records have been achieved, led by the city of London and the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
