Spain The European Athletics Championships in Rome concluded this Wednesday with 8 medals2 less than the previous edition of Munich 2022, and is in eighth position in the global medal table led by Italy with 24 metals.
In total there are 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze. The two gold medals for the Spanish team came from the triple jump, thanks to the excellent performance of Ana Peleteiro and Jordan Diaz.

Furthermore, Spain achieved 29 finalist places and placed fifth in the points classification. Finally, it is worth noting that the Spanish athletics team has achieved 3 national records in the men’s triple jump, women’s 5,000m and the women’s 4x400m relay.
