Dusan Tadicplayer of Serbian national teamassured that his team had “matured a lot” since the last major tournament they played in, the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and declared that the experience gained by many of their teammates in the competition will serve to confidently compete in the Euro Cup in Germany.
Hours before facing England, the Serbian captain reviewed the team led by Gareth Southgate and expressed confidence in achieving a good result due to the evolution of his teammates in the last two years.
“I think that experience will be very important for them (the World Cup in Qatar). Team unity has never been greater. It was like that in Qatar and it is like that today. They have matured a lot. It can be seen that there are now between seven and nine pregnancies. They are in their mature years. “Like I said, the union has never been bigger and we want to show it on the field,” he said.
