Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic ensured, for another week, their stay at the top of the ATP ranking after the opening of the grass season at the Stuttgart tournament (Germany) and the ‘s-Hertogenbosch tournament (Netherlands), where both were absent.
Sinner (9,480) continues in first place, despite dropping 45 points and Carlos Alcaraz (8,580) is in second place, followed by Novak Djokovic (8,360), who did not change their scores.
The Italian will participate in Halle (Germany) and the Spanish in Queen’s (United Kingdom) as a prelude to Wimbledonthird Grand Slam of the season, a tournament in which Djokovic was unable to participate due to injury after surgery on the meniscus in his right leg.
Australian Alex de Minaur (4,085) rose two places to seventh position after winning the ‘s-Hertogenbosch trophy, causing Norwegian Casper Ruud and Polish Hubert Hurrkacz to drop to eighth and ninth place, respectively. Sebastian Korda, who was a finalist, moved up three positions to remain in twenty-third place.
On the other hand, the British Jack Draper, who won in Stuttgart, improves nine positions, to thirty-one, and the Italian Mateo Berrettini, rises thirty positions, to 65th place after falling to final.
The other Spaniards in the top 100 list are Alejandro Davidovich (33, -1), Pedro Martínez (46, +1), Jaume Munar (60), Roberto Carballés (62, +1) and Roberto Bautista (83, + 2). Rafa Nadal, despite not participating in any grass tournament and giving up on Wimbledon, climbed three places (261).
