The judge investigating the payments to former vice president of the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) José María Enríquez Negreira has agreed to summon former FC Barcelona presidents Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu to testify at a date yet to be determined.
In a decision to which EFE had access, the head of the Court of Instruction number 1 of Barcelona, Joaquín Aguirre, agreed also mention the investigated Albert Solerformer professional sports director of the Barça club, and Negreira’s son, Javier Enríquez Romero.
Is about one of the first steps given by the judge in the Negreira case after the Barcelona Court agreed in May to acquit the current president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, for the payments he made in his first period to the head of the club -between 2008 and 2010 – is prescribedand withdraw the accusation against Barça of the crime of bribery.
