New moves in the Getafe squad

The striker of Honduras Anthony ‘Choco’ Lozanoloaned to Almería for the second half of last season, and the Argentine full-back Jonathan Silva On loan at Albacete, they returned to Getafe, the club from which the Spanish attacker left Dario Poveda, who terminated his contract this Monday, according to the Azulón club.

‘Choco’ Lozano, 31 years old, he arrived at Getafe in July 2023 but in the first half of the season he had almost no continuity and he played only seven games, one as a starter, and scored a goal in 178 minutes.

In search of continuity he accepted a loan to Almería, where he played thirteen games and scored three goals in 778 minutes, once again feeling important.

After that loan, the Honduran international returned to Getafe, as did the Argentine left back Jonathan Silva (30 years old), who after playing last season for Albacete, where he scored three goals in 29 games, returned to the Madrid club.

The third footballer to return to Getafe is the Ghanaian midfielder Said Abdulai (25 years old), who returned to the Coliseum after a season on loan to two teams, first to Lugo, from Primera Federación Group I, and then to Real Murcia, of the First Federation Group II.

Taking the reverse door, the exit door, is the Alicante striker Dario Poveda (27 years old), who terminated his contract with Getafe this Monday. He arrived at Getafe in 2020 from Atlético de Madrid and left four years later with fifteen official matches in blue and after successive transfers to Huesca, Ibiza, Leganés and twice to Cartagena.
