The Olympic flame will pass through Paris on the national holiday of July 14

The Olympic flame tour Paris tomorrow, Sunday and Monday to mark the July 14 national holiday, in an itinerary with an important symbolic component which will include some of the main symbols of the city and France.

Around 520 people will take turns carrying torches with the Olympic flame along routes of between 200 and 400 meters eachand among them will be some figures like the former football player and current U21 coach Thierry Henry who will be the reliever who will start the tour on the Champs-Élysées.

The ANational Assembly, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, Place de la Bastille, the Bataclan Hall, the Olympia Theatre, Place Vendôme, the Louvre Museum and the Center Pompidou They are some of the highlights of the Sunday tour, which will end at City Hall, where a cauldron will be lit for the night.

From therethe Olympic flame will travel throughout the city to visit symbolic points such as the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Arc de Triomphe, the Place du Trocadéro with views of the Eiffel Tower, the Roland Garros tennis court or the Place de la Bastille .

The journey ending at Plaza de la Repúblicawith a huge sculpture of Marianne, a symbol of the republic, in which to light another cauldron.

Starting Tuesday, the Olympic flame will continue its journey in Franceespecially through several departments in the north and regions of the capital, before returning to Paris for the inauguration ceremony on the 26th, when the final cauldron will be lit in the Tuileries gardens.
