This Thursday afternoon, Real Madrid completed a double training session on the fourth day of the preseason at Valdebebas Sports City. Carlo Ancelotti’s team, with only a few players due to the national team competitions that ended on Sunday, trained in Castilla in the morning and in the afternoon.
In the afternoon session, the players did a joint warm-up and possession and pressing exercises. The training session ended with the games, as reported by Madrid on its website.
So far Ancelotti only has Lucas, Courtois, Lunin, Vallejo, Brahim, Fran García and Dani Ceballos at his disposal, in addition to Alaba. The Austrian continues his recovery process and his return to competition is scheduled for the end of September or October.
Pending the gradual inclusion of internationals, Madrid will continue training in Valdebebas before leaving for the preseason tour of the United States next Sunday, July 28.
