As planned and announced, this Friday it took place at the headquarters of Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) the meeting for the signing of the technical agreement on Pyrenees Winter Olympic bid. During the meeting, the proposal presented, debated and agreed upon by the Technical Commission was ratified, as announced by the COE itself four days ago.
In the press release issued by the COE itself, it was emphasized that “we hope and trust that the government of Aragon will join this proposal”, as we recall that they did not attend the meeting this Friday after its president, Lambán, was very critical of the formation of the six technical meetings held between December 21 and March 22. In turn, the Aragonese president ensured that his proposals were rejected “without any technical basis” in which they clarified that the Sports such as alpine skiing, snowboarding and freestyle are held at valleys of aragon.
After this meeting, it is still unknown what day next week Javier Lamban will announce its own proposal at a press conference, where in theory it will ask to have trials in all ski resorts of Aragon.
