The Wimbledon tournament issued an invitation for the individual photo to Serena Williams, who has not dived since injuring his foot in the first round last year.
The organization of the third Grand Slam of the season on Tuesday announced most of the invitations for this year, including one of the singles for Serena, who will first dive into doubles in Eastbournebeside Ons Jaber, and then go to All England Clubof which he has succeeded seven times.
Serena, 40, is pursuing the dream of matching 24 Grands of Margaret Courthistorical record and where he has been to the gates four times, to the finals of Wimbledon 2018 and 2019, and to the US Open 2018 and 2019.
In addition to winning 23 Grand Slams, Wimbledon invited the British for the women’s tournament Katie Boulter, Jodie Burrage, Sonay Kartal, Katie Swan and Yuriko Miyazaki. There are, therefore, two other areas to be assigned.
In the men’s category, the organization gave wildcards to British Liam Broady, Jay Clarke, Alastair Gray, Paul Jubb and Ryan Penniston, as well as Swiss Stan Wawrinka and Dutchman Tim van Rijthoven, recent winner at S’hertogenbosch .
