The Spanish pilot Jorge Prado (GasGas)current champion, won this Sunday in Uddevalla, scene of Swedish Grand Prixfifteenth round of the MXGP World Championship, and reduced the distance separating him from the leader, the Slovenian Tim Gajser (Honda)second.
The man from Lugo won both rounds in Uddevalla. In the first, back and ahead of Gajser and the Frenchman Romain Fevbre (Kawasaki), and in the second, dominant and with the Dutchman Jeffrey Herlings (KTM) and the Slovenian in his wake.
With this resounding victory on the track where, Jorge Prado left his absence to Tim Gajser to only 17 points.
The Spanish anthem rang out on a circuit that had already experienced a very special celebration when Jorge was MX2 World Champion for the second time. The first heat is one that Jorge remembers best.
“I am very happy with this victory, winning both rounds. They have been two solid races in which I have felt very good on the track and even though it was very complicated. I am very happy,” said Prado.
“A great weekend. I had to ride at 100% to win here and I did it. In the second I was able to take first at the first corner, make a very good starting lap and maintain the advantage to avoid any fears of lapped “Great success and now we’re back in the arena to try it there too,” added the Galician.
