“I hope to be back at the Acciona Open de España in Madrid this September. It’s a city I love to visit and the atmosphere at the Country Club a few years ago with the Spanish fans was incredible. It’s always special to compete in historic tournaments and I’m excited to experience it again. I hope to play great golf,” commented Fleetwood, in statements given by the tournament organization.
The Englishman has already competed in the Spanish Open in 2022 and recently won a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris.
He has seven wins on the DP World Tour and three participations in the Ryder Cup, where he achieved 7 wins, 3 draws and only 2 losses, including the 2018 performance in which he and his partner Francesco Molinari made history by winning their four matches at the Parisian Le Golf National, where the Paris Olympics were held.
