The British diver Tom Daley A five-time Olympic medalist, he announced his retirement from diving at the age of 30 on Monday.
Daley, who won silver in the men’s synchronized 10-meter platform event in Paris and the gold in it Tokyo in 2021, he decided last year to return from retirement at the request of his eldest son.
“It was very emotional at the end, up there on the platform, knowing it was my last competitive jump,” Daley told British Vogue.
“But I have to make a decision at some point and I feel like this is it right time“.
Daley first raced in a Olympics with 14 yearsin 2008and won individual bronze medals in London and Tokyoas well as a bronze in the synchronized 10 meter event at Rio 2016.
