The electoral process for the FIFA presidency officially opens

Ang FIFA has officially presented the call for presidential elections to take place at the 73rd Congress organized by the highest body in world football. The Council of FIFA has established an electoral calendar for presidential elections FIFA from 2023. Once the date of the 73rd Congress of FIFAthe Council of FIFA notify member associations without delay in the last calendar of the electoral period.

The calendar is now set as follows:

• March 31 marks the beginning of the electoral process
• Four months before the 73rd Congress, the deadline for the presentation of candidates for the position of FIFA president of member federations will close.
• – One month before the 73rd Congress, the deadline for notifying federation members of the names of candidates proposed and admitted has closed.

Ang FIFA all member federations are invited to present their candidacies for the position of president of FIFAin accordance with the deadlines set forth in this electoral calendar.
