If there was one person who viciously attacked Jannik Sinner after his positive test for clotbolt in Indian Wells, it was Nick Kyrgios. The Australian didn’t mince his words and demanded harsh punishment for the world number 1 after he made it clear he didn’t believe his version that it was all an accident.
In the days that followed, Kyrgios continued his thirteenth, confronting and criticizing those who came out in defense of the Italian tennis player’s innocence.
Well, lately We have already heard Sinner’s first words on this matter. He spoke to them after his victory over Alex Michelsen in the second round match of the US Open.
“I don’t know. I don’t want to answer what he said. Everyone is free to say what they want. All right. If so, we’ll see. I’m sure it will be different (laughs). I don’t know what to say. Maybe I say something from time to time and the reaction is different,” said the Australian Open champion.
“I’m always pretty calm. I am a person who forgets things quite quickly.. Everyone is free to say what they want. “It is what it is” concludes a Sinner without any desire for controversy.
