He INEOS Sport athlete offered a motivational message to the team as they strive to make history and become the first British team to win the sport’s oldest international trophy.
The Kenyan athlete toured the team’s base, tested the simulator andHe is sitting in the cockpit of his AC75 racing boat, Britannia.
Kipchoge is joined by CEO and team leader, Ben Ainsliewhere he participated in the pre-regatta meeting and bid them farewell from the British team’s base in Port Vell.
The Kenyan athlete told members of the British America’s Cup team: “My best advice is to believe in yourself. Prepare and plan well to execute, but always believe and push hard. Trust binds the team together; “When there’s trust within a team, that’s what drives you to win.”
