The right back, also known for his exposure and large number of followers on social networks as an influencer and streamer, showed the image of his face after the attack on Instagram, which he accompanied with a message in which he thanked he support received, including with the phrase “exactly 10 hours ago was fine.”
Nuremberg defended him
Nuremberg also came to their defense in a statement in which they said they “will not accept that players are physically attacked.”
A few days ago Sommer published a photo of himself on Instagram wearing a Bayern Munich shirt, a team with which Nuremberg has a long rivalry, and later deleted it in reaction to disrespectful messages that he received.
During Saturday’s match in Nuremberg against Magdeburg, from the German second division, which ended 0-4 for the visitors, the club’s fans reacted with signs saying “Club pride instead of hipster pose . Nicholas Wilsonyou stink, like Bayern” and “Wilson, fuck you, you Bayern pig.” A day later, the attack that is currently being investigated by the police took place.
