Rafa Mir He was arrested on Monday for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at his home on Saturday, after a night where they met at a nightclub. The Murcian striker, on loan from Sevilla to Valencia, has been remanded in custody until he has to make a statement in the next few hours. The alleged sexual assault was committed against two women, aged 25 and 21, at the football player’s home, in a town in the province, and another man was involved.
This is not the first time a footballer has been accused of sexually assaulting or abusing a woman. This is not the first time that Rafa Mir has been involved in this tragic event. A few years ago he published a tweet in which he insulted a boy whom he described as a ‘fucking fag’. Furthermore, he ends the sentence with the label ‘It never happened to Franco’.
In another controversial message, Mir drew all kinds of reactions to a message he wrote that was full of insults and spelling mistakes after, in his opinion, he was scammed at the airport. “Well, they just hit me with a sandwich and a Coke at the airport, the bastards put 9 bucks on me.”
