Dorival: “Endrick has the credentials to play 90 minutes”

The Brazilian coach, Dorival Juniorthe young forward said Thursday Endrick is qualified to be a holder of Canaryalthough he played little at the start of the European season with real Madrid.

“Endrickwithout being a starter in one of the best teams in world football, has the credentials” in the national team and “to play 90 minutes,” said Dorival in a press conference, on the eve of the reception Ecuador in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The coach assured that at the moment he does not consider whether one of his players “acts 90 or 100” minutes with their clubs to start them, because “the majority is at the beginning of the season”.

In this sense, he defended younger players, such as Estevao, Luiz Henrique or himself Endrickmeet the “experiences and conditions” of being able to “play 90 minutes” of a senior team match.

However, he asked them to be “patient” and not place too high expectations on them because of their young age. “They have a very high potential and a lot is expected of them”, but “we have to be calm”, because “they leave their clubs and go to the national team with a huge responsibility because the results are not coming and because of our situation in the classification” he explained.
