So, based on all this, the electoral process will be made official tomorrow, Tuesday, as a preliminary step to the publication of the call for the election that will take place next September 11. It will be Thursday, September 12, when the deadline for candidates to appear for the Presidency opens. of the RFEF, until Monday, September 16. The election will take place on October 7 if there are more candidates. If only one candidate is submitted, this step is not required.
Once the person holding the Presidency is elected, he will be in charge of calling elections to the Assembly of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, which, once formed, will elect a new president of the RFEF for the next term.
