It has also hosted Formula 3 and GT tests, the Spanish CEV Speed ​​​​​​​​Championship and a race in the electric car world championship, Formula E, among many other events.

Throughout its history it has been awarded on various occasions as the best organization in the most important motor competition: six awards in Motorcycle World Championship (IRTA Best Grand Prix in 2003, 2004, 2006, two in 2020 and 2021), two in the organization of World Superbike Championship (2000 and 2006) and one for the best Truck Grand Prix in 2001.

Its design pays homage in its curves to great motoring references such as Jorge Martínez Aspar, Mick Doohan, Nico Terol, Angel Nieto, Champi Herreros, Adrián Campos or Jaume Masià, in addition to the young driver Bernat Martínez , who died in 2015.

One of the greatest milestones as a Cheste training center is the victory in 2020 of the MotoGP world champion title of the Balearic Joan Mir.

The Circuit Ricardo Tormo Specialized Motor Sports Technology Center (CETDM) offers technical training and high performance programs to young Spanish drivers, as the only technical training center specialized in motor sports in Spain.

This program is supported by Higher Sports Council and the national and regional federations.
