The captain of the Spanish Davis Cup, David Ferrer, has announced the players he has selected to face the opening match of the Group Stage of the Davis Cup against the Czech Republic, Roberto Bautista will play the first game as number two, Carlos Alcaraz will start next as number one and, later, he would play doubles with Marcel Granollers.
The match with the Czechs starts tonight at 4:00 pm, with the battle between Bautista and Jiri Lehecka on the covered track of the Fuente de San Luís de València pavilion. Next, Alcaraz will face Czech number one Tomas Machak.
In principle, the player from Murcia was announced to play doubles with Granollers against Jakub Mensik and Adam Plavasek, although both captains can change members of pairs when the second singles match is over.
