The organization published the list of candidates on Monday, following the deadline for submitting candidacies on Sunday. The winner of the elections, in the March 2025 Session in Greece, will be the tenth president of the IOC, an entity founded in 1894 and responsible for the organization of the largest universal sporting event, the Olympic Games.
The candidates will present their programs, behind closed doors, to all IOC members at a meeting to be held in Lausanne (Switzerland) in January 2025.
