Jennifer Miranda, interim WBA featherweight world champion in Madrid

Cádiz Jennifer Miranda (12, 1 KO-0-0) showed excellence against the Panamanian Teresa Almengor (9, 4 KOs, 2-3) this Sunday

on October 20 at Madrid to win the interim WBA featherweight world title.

Miranda’s (38-year-old) powerful punch to the chest managed to keep his rival away, who was also attacked with powerful blows to the soft parts combined with crosses to the face. However, Almengor (31 years old) tried on several occasions to lock his rival in the ring, but the Spaniard, in his best boxing, got out and returned to the center of the ring.
