South Korean Byeong-Hun An won he Genesis Championshiptournament belonging to DP World Tour (European Tour) which is disputed in Jack Nicklaus club from Incheon (South Korea)in his home country, after defeating his compatriot in a tiebreaker Tom Kim.

Both came into the decisive day sharing first place and kept it in front until the end, signing off the final day with a 67 stroke, five under par for the field, the champion thanks to seven birdies and two bogeys and Kim made six that birdie and a bogey.

This allowed them to overcome the pressure of the Portuguese Ricardo Gouveia, who copied the route of the South Koreans and finished the four routes with a total of -16, one stroke behind them; the Frenchman Antoine Rozner (-15) and the Italian Guido Migliozzi (-14), the best on Sunday with 65 strokes.

In the playoff, Kim could only make bogey after playing a bad hole and An had two putts, nailing the first, to clinch the second title of his career on the circuit after the 2015 BMW PGA Championship.

Regarding the Spanish participation, Iván Cantero was the best, tied for sixth place thanks to his final 69 for 276 (-12), five behind the Italian Francesco Laporta and the South African Casey Jarvis. Alejandro del Rey completed the top 15 with -10, Manuel Elvira with -7 and Alfredo García-Heredia with +2.
