For most of Q2, Marcos Ramírez was definitely leading the time table, but Navarro completed a perfect lap in the final moments of the session to set a 2:04.412, the best lap given in Moto2 at the Malaysian GP. A joy for the Spaniard, who has not been a regular driver on the grid since mid-2022.
