Ludogorets have won the last thirteen leagues in their country

Date:

Ludogorets has not started the League Phase of the second continental competition well – it has only added one point in three games played – but it has been a great dominator of the Bulgarian championship in the modern era. So they have won the last thirteen Leagues and therefore have experience competing in the old continent. No club in this country has achieved so many consecutive titles in the regularity tournament and the lions’ rivals tomorrow at the Huvepharma Arena have already done so after being promoted from the second category.

Ludogorets was created in 1945 and was re-established as Profesionalen Futbolen Klub Ludogorets 1945 in 2009, where it became a sport. The club is located in Razgrad, which is located in the northeast of Bulgaria and has about 29,000 inhabitants. Its stadium has a capacity for 12,500 spectators

The city of Razgrad is located in a region on the Danube River plain, a mountainous and formerly forested area. The word Ludogore is translated as wild forest. During that time, the forests were replaced by farmland. Agriculture is one of the main economic drivers of this region.
