This Wednesday, Real Madrid inaugurated the first theme park for a football club in Dubai in collaboration with the company Dubai Parks and Resorts. Real Madrid World has a size of six hectares and “40 experiences” where some attractions stand out like the “Hala Madrid Coster”, the only wooden roller coaster in the Middle East. Emilio Butragueño, director of institutional relations at Real Madrid, and Roberto Carlos, ambassador of the white club, attended the event.
“We are fully convinced that those who visit this theme park will immediately feel the emotion and excitement that our shield and t-shirt convey. Here a very important and beloved part of our history comes to life, born from the feelings and dreams of Real Madrid fans. As our president said, Real Madrid belongs to the hearts of the people,” commented Vulture in statements included on Madrid’s website.
Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, appreciates the amusement park. “Real Madrid World is more than a theme park: it is a celebration of football. It is an exciting addition to Dubai’s entertainment landscape with new experiences that are fully inclusive, educational and fun for everything,” he said.
Among the attractions or immersive experiences offered by the park, The Real Challenge, Road to victory or Bernabéu Experience stand out. The Park has a replica of the Cibeles fountain and has the Stars Flyer, the tallest flying chair in the world.
