“It wasn’t easy, sometimes when you’re four strokes ahead it’s not easy. I haven’t played there in a while, so I had a little bit of adrenaline and I started with a couple of bogeys and Manon (De Roey, the Belgian, second to final) played well in the first nine holes, so we were very tight in the first holes,” he added.

Ciganda was 4 strokes ahead after 54 holes, but it was a difficult start for the Spaniard on the final day, as he made two bogeys in his first three holes. His lead evaporated with consecutive birdies from Belgian De Roey.

It has been a good day for me, but I want to congratulate Manon because she did very well, especially that with the second shots, I thought that if she gives me a good chance in the last holes and she makes some putts, she played well, I know she will be next in the LPGA Q-School week, so I wish her a lot of good luck ,” concluded Ciganda.
In the LET Order of Merit, The first three classified are the Swiss Chiara Tamburlini with 2,718.44 points, the Belgian Manon De Roey with 2,216.21 and the English Charley Hull with 1,742. Ciganda jumped from 81st to 28th place in the classification.
