The former international Daniel Solsona, who played with other teams in Espanyol and in Valencia, a club where was declared the champion of the European Cup Winners’ Cupthe guest of honor at the presentation of La Granada CF teamswith the presence of all the players from the ‘Mainada’ category to the women’s and men’s first team at the Camp Municipal Josep Ferrer Ferriol. Solsona is a regular contributor to various media outlets, including RAC 1.
Solsona accompanied, among others, the president from the club, Laura Rodríguez; Joan Amat, mayor of La Granada; Raquel Albiol, fifth vice president of Provincial Council of Barcelona and delegate president of the Feminism and Equality Area; and Joan Estruch, FCF’s Alt Penedès delegate.
There is also Penya Barcelonista representation of La Granadaa cooperating entity with the town’s football club, as well as the ‘regidors’ Carmen Rovirosa (Attention to People, Youth, Communication and New Technologies) and Xavier Ciércoles (Esports, Tourism and Citizen Participation). The day started with a ‘botifarrada’ for around 170 players who are part of the club (130 grassroots football including two beginners) and for family members to attend. After the presentation of the groups, The First Division match was played Women’s match between La Granada and Fontsanta Fatjó (2-4).
