Daniel Dubois will defend his world heavyweight title of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) against New Zealander Joseph Parker on February 22 in Riyadhas the organizers reported on Monday.
Dubois won the interim belt in June by defeating Filip Hrgovic and was promoted to champion when Oleksandr Usyk vacated the title due to his rematch clause with Tyson Fury.
Dubois defended his title in September with a knockout victory over compatriot Anthony Joshua at Wembley.
The former world champion parker32 years old, won the heavyweight title of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) in 2016 by defeating Mexican Andy Ruiz. He lost the title to Joshua in 2018.
Recent wins have pushed Parker back into the heavyweight title pictureparticularly after getting a dominant victory over Deontay Wilder in December of last year.
He has held the WBO interim heavyweight title since March after defeating Zhang Zhilei.
The rematch between the undisputed light heavyweight champion, Artur Beterbiev, and Dmitry Bivol will also take place in Riyadh..
Canadian of Russian descent Beterbiev won the undisputed light heavyweight title in October, defeating Russian Bivol by majority points decision in Saudi Arabia.
